Parylene coatings have many limitations. AMCX has a durable, low-critical surface energy system for metals, ceramics and even some thermoplastics to replace Parylene and PTFE.
Coking and carburising are responsible for system failures, poor consistency, increased tailing, fouling, and sample breakdown. A properly selected and applied anti-coking surface from AMCX can dramatically increase performance & reduce downtime.
Hydrophobic surface systems from AMCX are in wide use in the robotics and sampling industry to increase precision and reduce carryover. Durable hydrophobic and lipophobic surface systems are available for metals and ceramics.
